Actor’s Nest supports aspiring actors preparing for drama school and professional training.
Each year thousands of talented young actors apply to the UK’s leading conservatoires. While passion and potential are essential, success at audition requires something more: clear preparation, strong monologue choices, technical understanding and the ability to perform with confidence under pressure.
Actor’s Nest provides focused training and expert guidance to help actors develop these skills and approach the audition process with clarity and purpose.
Our programmes are designed specifically for students aged 16–19 who are preparing to take the next step in their acting journey.
Our Training
Actor’s Nest offers a range of programmes designed to support actors at different stages of their preparation.
Students may begin with the Drama School: Strategy Session, an online masterclass that explains how drama school auditions work and how to approach the year ahead.
From there, actors can progress to the Audition Intensive, where they begin developing and refining their monologues through practical coaching.
For those applying in the current cycle, our Drama School: Unlocked programme provides sustained training over twelve weeks, supporting actors as they prepare their final audition material.
Additional coaching and self-tape assessments are available for students who wish to develop their work in greater depth.
National Youth Monologues
Actor’s Nest works closely with the National Youth Monologues, a national competition celebrating young acting talent.
The competition provides an important platform for young actors to perform and develop their work.
Many finalists and shortlisted performers go on to train with Actor’s Nest as they prepare for drama school auditions.
Together, these initiatives help identify and nurture the next generation of actors.
